I Am We, by Susan Verde, celebrates the power of community, kindness, and connection. It reminds us that while each of us is unique, together we are stronger, and our actions can make a positive difference for others.
This year, we are using I Am We as our school-wide anchor text to guide our learning. Every class will engage with the book’s themes of unity, empathy, and collaboration. The text will provide a common foundation for discussions and activities that build community, encourage inclusivity, and reinforce the idea that together, “we” can make a positive difference.
We have already observed many positive interactions in grade 2! We are looking forward to our year with this group of thoughtful learners. Check out some of these snapshots of your children in action.
